How to get an amazing physique with bodyweight training

Do you really need a gym membership? Well the answer to this question is no, unless you really like to visit the gym because you make new friends there and you enjoy the social aspect of it. During the 2020 lockdown I had to find a way to get fit without a gym membership.

So I started doing 100 pushups a day and I would gradually increase the amount I did each week and I would see significant changes in my physique. Later on during lockdown I managed to get a door pull up bar from one of my friends. This made things a lot better because I could focus on my pulling strength as well. By the end of lockdown I was doing 1000 pushups a day and 100 pull-ups a day comfortably and my strength was increasing dramatically.

Calisthenics(bodyweight training) doesn’t just help with muscle gain and doing a few pushups in the morning can also be a great way to loose fat or to get shredded, although some steady state cardio added to a workout regime will help you to loose fat much quicker. So don’t use the excuse:" I don’t have a gym membership”, and get started today with bodyweight training.
